Collections sites are for the use of Suwannee County residents only

Projected Decal & Mailing timeline

  • Decals in production will be received around 1/18/23
  • Mailout production will be in the latter part of February; at the beginning of March, decals will be mailed.

Current 2022 decals will remain in effect until June 1st, allowing for a reasonable transition into the 2023 decals.

New Year 2023 Assessment and Decal issuance

  • January 1st, the prorated assessment starts at $225, reducing every first business day of the calendar month.
  • 2022 decals will be issued till 2023 becomes available.
  • Documentation will be made on the issuance at that time of issue, and 2023 replacements will be mailed out to the designated address, or they will be notified when they’re available for pick up.

Effective June 1, 2023, all residents of Suwannee County are required to present a 2023 Solid Waste Decal (Resolution No. 2022-28) for entrance into any county Collection Site Facility.  All property owners with assessed dwelling(s) on their property are receiving two (2) decal(s) per assessment.  Your assessment information can be found in the “Non-Ad Valorem” section of your 2022 property tax bill, which was mailed by the Suwannee County Tax Collector’s Office in November. You may also visit their website site at https://suwtax.com/  to view your tax bill.

The issuance of the decal(s), is to ensure appropriate county residents are permitted access to Collection Site Facilities and to minimize the unauthorized use of the facilities.

Instructions for use and placement of Decal(s).
