County Attorney

The County Attorney’s Office provides legal services and support to the Board of County Commissioners to all county departments. The office prepares and reviews all legal documents, responds to the need for litigation by or against the county and provides formal and informal legal options and opinions to the Board and County staff. Support services include: attendance at meetings and conferences, preparation of administrative documents, performance of general administrative duties and legal research.

The goals and initiatives of the County Attorney’s Office are directly related to the requests and directives of the Board of County Commissioners and the county staff.
