Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for the following
ROAD CREW MEMBER

This full-time position with the Public Works Road Department is responsible for managing the flow of traffic around road construction sites, placement of warning and detour signs, positioning traffic cones and barricades, informing crews of any safety hazards. Work generally follows standardized procedures and requires decisions relative to the application of various established rules and procedures.

Minimum education is equivalent to high school diploma or GED. Must possess or be able to obtain DOT certification for maintenance of traffic within 6 months of hire. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Minimum salary is $15.75 an hour, based on qualifications and experience, plus a generous benefits package.
