Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for
Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians & Firefighter/Paramedics
These full-time Suwannee County Fire Rescue Services positions will respond to emergency fire, medical, hazardous material, auto accident and other emergencies; and perform duties in accordance with all established policies, procedures and medical protocol.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a standard high school supplemented by State of Florida Firefighter II, Paramedic Certifications, Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support Certification for Paramedic, Pediatric Advanced Life Support for Paramedic, current EVOC certificate, and must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and meet all requirements according to DOT standards. Minimum salary for Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician is $15.45 an hour, based on qualifications and experience and for Paramedic/Firefighters is $18.60 an hour, based on qualifications and experience.
