Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for
PARK ATTENDANT
This is a part-time position to work on a regular basis and will report to the Parks and Facilities Supervisor or designee. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. An employee allocated in a position of this class will be responsible for assisting with upkeep of assigned park, litter pickup and park entrance fees under the direction of the Supervisor or designee. Work requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions, carry out assigned tasks, good customer service skills, and ability to work in a high stress environment.
Minimum qualifications include a basic knowledge of parks and rules. Knowledge of and skill in using basic maintenance tools and equipment and the ability to perform routine basic maintenance or custodial tasks. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, participants, and visitors. Ability to complete simple reports, count money and make change. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
