Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This full-time position performs administrative and technical work in the Administration Department, and is responsible for a variety of administrative duties requiring the moderate exercise of independent judgment, initiative, and ability to make decisions relative to department operations.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a standard high school and three years of experience in secretarial or advanced clerical office work or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Some knowledge of roadways and related information is desired, but not required. Applicants must also possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and have excellent people skills. Minimum salary is $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a generous benefits package.
