This fulltime position includes moderately heavy manual work in routine custodial tasks in various County buildings. An employee in a position allocated to this class performs routine or repetitive work in custodial services that follows clearly prescribed rules and procedures.

Minimum qualifications include the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Applicant must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Rate of pay is based on experience and qualifications plus a generous benefits package.

Day Camp Counselor – Parks & Rec (S)

Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for

DAY CAMP COUNSELOR

This position with the Parks & Recreation Department will work on an as-needed basis and reports to the Day Camp Coordinator. Requirements include performing various planning, leading, supervising, and cleaning up for a variety of theme-based sports, games, crafts, science, and nature activities. Work requires effective and accurate communication skills, responsibility, and the ability to work in a high-stress environment, the ability to work with children ages 6 to 12 and the ability to work well with others.
Minimum qualifications include valid Florida Driver’s License, current certifications in CPR and must also have knowledge of the principals and methods of recreation programming. Minimum salary is $12.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
