Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for the following
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I

This full-time position with the Facilities Maintenance Department is responsible, moderately heavy manual work in various County buildings. An employee in a position allocated to this class performs various maintenance repair functions requiring the adoption or modification of methods and standards to meet variations in controlling conditions. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, surface preparation, painting, basic carpentry, and lawn maintenance skills are desired.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience in general maintenance and carpentry, or other appropriate certificates/licenses required by the County.  Only experienced applicants will be considered. 

Rate of pay for this full-time position is $12.50 – $20.00, based on qualifications and experience, plus a generous benefits package.
