Suwannee County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for the following
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II – FACILITIES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

This position is responsible, moderately heavy manual work in various County buildings. An employee in a position allocated to this class performs various maintenance repair functions and new construction tasks requiring the adoption or modification of methods and standards to meet variations in controlling conditions. Documented plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC, painting, carpentry and concrete skills are required.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience in all construction trades, or other appropriate certificates/licenses required by the County. Only experienced applicants will be considered.

Rate of pay for this full-time position is $14.00 – $23.00, based on qualifications and experience, plus a generous benefits package.
