Your assessment information can be found in the “Non-Ad Valorem” section of your 2023 property tax bill, which was mailed by the Suwannee County Tax Collector’s Office in November. You may also visit their website at www.suwtax.com to view this information.

The issuance of the Decal(s), is to ensure appropriate county residents are permitted access to Collection Site Facilities and to minimize the unauthorized use of the facilities.

Instructions for use and placement of Decal(s).

  • Any misuse of Decal(s) or illegal dumping subjects the violator to a possible $500.00 fine, (Ref. County Ord. Sec. 62-36).

If you are a landlord:

  • It is the responsibility of the property owner to disperse Decal(s) to any lease or rental units properly assessed and identified by the above-listed tax ID.

Replacement of Decal(s) Damaged or Lost:

  • Damaged decal(s) can be replaced at no cost upon return of said damaged decal.
  • Lost decal(s) can be replaced for a fee of $50.00 per decal upon completion of an affidavit and specified backup documentation provided by the landowner (must be the landowner).
    • Decal(s) can be issued to the property owner at the County Administration Office or the Building Department Office.

The permit is made of a plastic material and is designed as a static cling decal for easy placement and removal. It shall be placed on the inside lower left corner of the windshield in plain sight and for easy viewing by Collection Site Attendants, as shown below.
